Driving After an Earthquake (A102)

Description

Driving after an earthquake presents unique hazards requiring caution, situational awareness, and quick thinking. This training course will cover how to safely navigate roads following seismic activity, including what to watch for—such as damaged bridges, fallen power lines, or debris—and when it’s best to avoid driving altogether. You’ll learn the importance of staying tuned to emergency broadcasts, how to assess your vehicle’s condition, and what steps to take if you're on the road during or immediately after a quake. Being prepared can help you protect yourself and others in the aftermath of an earthquake.
